More Than Just Merchandise

Let’s be real. We’ve all spent money on official team gear. The jerseys, the hats, the scarves… and it’s great. It shows support. But sometimes, doesn’t it feel a bit… impersonal? You see a thousand other people wearing the exact same thing. It’s a uniform of fandom, for sure, but where’s the *personal* story in that?

I was looking at my collection of Roma gear the other day and something felt missing. I wanted a symbol of my passion that was uniquely mine, something that carried the memory of my own effort and love for the team. Not just something I added to a cart and bought. A piece of the Curva Sud spirit, made by hand.

Every stitch in the scarf is a cheer for the team.

Crocheting the Soul of Rome

And that’s when it hit me. Why not *make* it? This isn’t just a crochet pattern. Think of it as building our team's spirit, one stitch at a time. Every loop of yarn is like a chant in the stadium. Every finished row is a hard-fought victory. You’re not just making a toy wolf; you’re crafting a talisman. You're bringing Romulus, the fierce symbol of the Capital, to life with the sacred Giallorossi colors.

This project transforms yarn into passion. It’s a way to channel all that nervous energy during a match into something beautiful, something that screams "Forza Roma!" without saying a word.

Assembly Guide

1
Head & Body: Sew the head securely onto the top of the body. Make sure it's centered and stable.
2
Snout & Face: Sew the snout onto the front of the head, between rows 13-17. Using black yarn, embroider a triangular nose onto the tip of the snout.
3
Limbs & Ears: Attach the legs to the base of the body so the wolf can sit. Sew the arms onto the sides of the body, around R17. Fold the ears flat and sew them to the top of the head, around R5-R9.
4
Tail & Scarf: Sew the tail to the back of the body. Finally, wrap the Giallorossi scarf proudly around Romulus's neck and tack it in place with a few stitches.
