Assembly
- Stuff the body firmly and close the opening with the tail from round 14.
- Position the eyes about 4-5 rows above the decrease (around row 9-10).
- Embroidine a small black smile just below the eyes.
- Stuff the two leaves lightly and attach them to the top of the strawberry.
- Attach the stem between the leaves.
- Weave in all ends neatly.
Pro Tips
- Use stitch markers to keep track of your rounds! I always forget where I am without them.
- When stuffing, stuff a little, then crochet a round before stuffing more. This prevents over-stuffing.
- The magic ring might be tricky at first – practice it a few times with scrap yarn.
- If you don't have safety eyes, don't worry! Black embroidery thread works just as well.
- For a polished look, weave in your ends tightly. It takes a bit longer but is so worth it.
- Want a different look? Try using variegated yarn for some unique color patterns.
